At RehabMAX Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic, we pride ourselves in offering a thorough assessment and extensive one-on-one treatment. You should allow 45-60 minutes for each visit. Please call (604) 592-9119 to book an appointment.

A medical referral is not required for physiotherapy.

With each visit, you will be provided with a receipt that can be used to seek reimbursement from your extended medical plan. Presently, we do not direct bill extended medical plans.  For specific information regarding your coverage limits and reimbursement, please check with your health plan provider.

If you are being treated for injuries sustained in a recent motor vehicle accident, a portion of your fees will be covered by ICBC. For all ICBC claims, there is a user fee for each visit.  However, you may have the opportunity to have these user fees reimbursed during the settlement of your claim.  You will need to speak to ICBC in regards to this reimbursement.   Please bring your doctor’s referral note, BC Care Card, and if available, your claim number and your adjuster’s name and telephone number, to your first appointment.

If you are being treated for injuries sustained in the workplace, your treatment will be covered fully by WorkSafe BC if you have an accepted claim.  Please bring in your BC Care Card, claim number and adjuster’s name and telephone number, and if possible your doctor’s referral note, to your first appointment.

Effective January 1, 2002 Medical Services Plan will cover a combined limit of up to 10 visits for physiotherapy, chiropractic, naturopath, massage therapy, acupuncture and non-surgical podiatry services in a calendar year to those beneficiaries on premium assistance.

The British Columbia Medical Services Plan (MSP) pays for a portion of the physiotherapy fees for those people with low income.  However, there is a user fee charged on top of the amount that MSP pays. Please discuss your eligibility for MSP coverage with our reception staff.  For further information on Premium Assistance, visit the MSP website at
