Hip Sprain and Hip Strains
Sprains and strains occur from quick over-stretching of muscles, tendons, and ligaments, resulting in tearing and subsequent injury of the tissues. Swelling begins as part of the inflammation process, causing pain and difficulty with movement. Sprains and strains can range from mild to severe. If symptoms don’t resolve on their own after 2 or 3 days, our physiotherapists can help speed up your road to recovery.
How our physiotherapists can help
Our physiotherapists will first evaluate the injured area to determine the extent of the injury and then we will formulate a treatment plan that will help to relieve your swelling and pain. Our next priority would be to restore your normal range of motion and strength. Book an appointment today so that we can help you recover and resume the activities that you love to do!
