Registered Massage Therapy Surrey & Newton
What is Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy is a type of treatment in which a trained and registered professional (RMT) manipulates the soft tissue of your body (joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, connective tissue and skin) using a variety of techniques, pressure and movement, with the goals to alleviate pain, improve blood flow and mobility, as well as promote healing. Massage Therapy is effectively used to treat a wide range of conditions including occupational and posture related problems, accident related injuries, sports injuries, stress reduction, pregnancy related issues, headaches, and circulatory/lymph and nerve conditions.
Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are college certified and registered under the BC Health Professionals Act. They are health care professionals committed to restoring and maintaining optimal health for their patients.
